Matapos magpahayag ng kanyang suporta kay Bise Presidente at Presidential aspirant na si Leni Robredo ay pinasalamatan ng aktres na si Marjorie Barreto si Tricia Robredo, anak ni Robredo sa pagbabahagi nito ng kanilang ina sa bansa.

Binalikan ni Tricia sa isang post sa Instagram ang naging pagpapasya ng kanyang inang si Leni na tumakbo bilang pangulo ng bansa sa darating na halalan.

“It took a lot of whys and why nots before she arrived at the decision to run. Over dinner, just a few short nights before she filed her candidacy, my sisters and I asked why we couldn’t just pack up, exit quietly and let things run their natural course. We already knew what was at stake, but we asked anyway just to exhaust everything out,” ayon sa caption ng Tricia sa kanyang post

“Mama’s always been objective and she rarely gets emotional or fragile. But at one point in that conversation, I remember her saying – ‘paano na nasimulan ni Papa?’” ayon pa sa anak ni Leni

Sunod binahagi ni Tricia ang takot na naramdaman na makalimutan ang yumaong ama na si Jessie Robredo na dating Interior Secretary.

“After losing Papa, I’ve been so afraid of forgetting about him. I think that’s one of the biggest reasons why I write. But the universe has its deliberate and random ways of telling me not to fret,” ani Tricia

“But coming home to Naga and seeing my Mama last night, I’m reminded of something that’s just as precious and just as powerful. A love that remembers, a love that inspires, a love that transcends. For country. For city. For Jesse.
