Comedian and showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz posted in his social media his disgust over a comment of former news anchor Jay Sonza.

Ogie posted, “Tumatanda na talagang paurong si Jay Sonza. Nakakalungkot. At nakakahiya sa edad niyang yan.”

Diaz specifically directed his opinion to Jay Sonza’s post regarding one of the special event of the Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo attended.

Sonza stated in his post, “Please don’t get me wrong. I am just asking, if I may. Ito ba ang tamang pananamit ng isang pinuno ng bansa sa isang state affair sa Middle East? Mose gree party see thru and laced dress at may bikining itim na panloob?”

“Is this the proper dress when meeting a head of state? I just wanna know since some of you questioned Mr. Duterte’s wardrobe in Russia.”  Sonza said.

Apparently, the former newscaster’s post did not verify first the true story behind the said picture and was accused online of bringing fake news.

Meanwhile, Robredo was just attending a celebration of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Day in Shangri-La at the Fort and meeting with its Ambassador to the Philippines.

As evidently shown in Robreodo’s social media post, she mentioned, “Glad to join His Excellency Dr. Abdullah N.A. Al Bussairy, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Philippines, in celebrating the 88th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Shangri-La at the Fort. We hope the relationship between our two countries will remain strong.”

Ogie Diaz is a Filipino actor, comedian and showbiz reporter. He was also previously the manager of comedian Vice Ganda for four years. He is currently managing Liza Soberano.

While Jay Sonza is now 64 years old, a former newscaster and talk show host. He also filed for candidacy to become a senator in the 2004 Philippine elections, as well as, a vice president in 2010 but he lost both electoral candidacies.
