Actress Kris Aquino on Sunday has expressed support to another
Otso Diretso bet Chel Diokno, just weeks after blasting the camp of former
Interior Secretary Mar Roxas.
In her Instagram post, Aquino shared a photo of herself
wearing a pink shirt with Diokno’s image.
"Humanga ako kay senate candidate #25 Chel Diokno
because i agree sa SENSE ng STATEMENT nya: We all want to put a stop to corruption.
We want criminality to stop. But we don’t talk enough about the 🇵🇠justice system," she captioned the
post.
The cousin of reelectionist Bam Aquino also said that Diokno
is the second senatorial candidate who gets a post from her.
"Long Shot sya but just because a man isn’t in the
'sure win' category, it doesn’t mean hindi na ko pwedeng mabilib sa
kanya," she added.
Based on the recent Pulse Asia survey, Diokno did not make
it into the so-called “Magic 12” list of candidates with a statistical chance
of winning.
Candidates backed by President Rodrigo Duterte (PDP-Laban)
and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte’s regional party Hugpong ng Pagbabagp (HNP)
dominated the said recent survey.
