The elder taxi driver asked the help of Land Transportation
Franchising and Regulatory Board to find the girl driver who assaulted him in a
road accident in Quezon City yesterday.
Virgilio Doctor, 52, was slapped and verbally assaulted by a
motorist named Cherish Sharmaine Interior.
According to the driver, Interior might have gotten angry at
him for overtaking but he immediately apologized as he did not want further trouble.
"Nagso-sorry na ako dahil talagang ayaw ko ng gulo.
Nagpakumbaba na lang ako. Sabi ko, 'sorry po. Di po sinasadya, 'yung
pangyayari. Sorry po," Doctor explained.
After being slapped, Doctor recalled that he got dizzy and
thought he might get a heart attack.
"Kaya ako lumabas ng awto, akala ko maha-heart attack
ako. Buti na lang hindi natuloy," he added.
LTFRB is now looking for the girl in the video to get her
side of the story.
