Manila, Philippines – On Friday, Social Weather Station
(SWS) revealed that President Rodrigo Duterte’s net satisfactory rating bounced
back by 10 points.
In the fourth quarter of 2017, the president’s rating points
went up to 58 percent.
Data released by SWS shows that 71 percent of adult Filipinos
were satisfied with President Duterte’s performance, 13 percent were
dissatisfied while 15 percent were undecided.
The current net rating of the president was classified by
SWS as “very good”, which was an improvement from his 48 percent previous
rating in September 2017.
The 10 point increase, according to SWS, were attributed majorly
by Luzon and Visayas, while he remained “Excellent” in Mindanao region, backed
by a 4 point increase from the survey in September.
The president’s net satisfactory ratings went from “good” to
“very good” in Metro Manila at 55 percent, Luzon at 50 percent and Visayas at
53 percent.
He got “very good” net satisfaction rating in both urban and
rural areas in the country, in all classes, men and women, and in all Filipinos
regardless of the educational levels.
The said survey conducted by SWS was made through face-to-face
interviews of 1,200 adults nationwide.
