A senior citizen in Naga City, Camarines Sur who received 25 kilos of rice from their barangay as part of the relief packages distribution amid the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
The 60-year-old lolo woke up defenseless after he discovered that the 25 kilos of rice that the barangay gave him was stolen by thieves.
According to Unang Balita of GMA News, Lolo Oscar Guerrero narrated that the padlock of his shanty was purposefully dismantled so that the thieves could do their plan of stealing from him.
However, because of his age and his unfortunate situation in life, barangay officials as well as the AFP and the PNP, joined together and gave lolo Oscar the assistance he needed
Netizens aired their anger over the incident, most of them saying that the elderly should be assisted, but instead, some evil minded took advantage on him. Here are their comments:
