Vice President Leni Robredo stressed that Liberal Party (LP) has no hand in filing cases against President Rodrigo Duterte before the International Criminal Court (ICC).

This statement of Robredo came after Filipino lawyer Jude Sabio withdrew his complaint against the President saying it was being used as “political propaganda” by the opposition.

According to a report by Inquirer, Robredo told the reporters at an event in Caloocan City that, LP being behind the ICC complaint was a “complete lie.”

She even challenged Sabio to name the alleged LP personalities behind the complaint.

“Kasi kapag hindi niya papangalanan, nadadamay iyong mga wala namang kaalam-alam. So iyong sa akin lang— Kaya noong nakita ko iyong headline na ang bine-blame LP, alam ko na may consideration iyong pag-withdraw, kasi hindi totoong kasali iyong LP, eh.” Robredo said.

Robredo also slammed Larry Gadon, the lawyer who was with Sabio when he retracted the complaint.

If recalled, Gadon is the lawyer of Peter Joemel Advincula, alias “Bikoy”, who was allegedly behind the “Ang Tototoong Narcolist” videos.

“Ngayon— Lalo pa kasi si Atty. Gadon iyong kasama. Si Atty. Gadon din iyong kasama noong nag-file ng sedition case sa akin, na ano talaga, 100 percent kasinungalingan (Now, Gadon is part of it. Atty. Gadon was also part of the sedition case filed against me that are 100 percent lies),” she said

“So noong nakita ko pa lang iyong mukha niya sa picture, alam ko na na pareho na naman ito noong sedition [case], (So when I saw him in the photo, I know that this is also the same as the sedition case,” Robredo added
