Manila, Philippines – Pambansang Kamao Senator Manny
Pacquiao recently got interviewed by TMZ, an American tabloid news website, and
was asked when is he going to retire from boxing.
The eight-division boxing world champion says with his
current physical condition, he is feeling like he is still in his late 20s, he
thinks he can still fight until the age of 45.
As a matter of fact, he just won his recent fight with the
undefeated 30-year-old Keith "One Time" Thurman for the WBA (Super)
Welterweight World Champion last Saturday, July 20 at the MGM Grand Garden in
Las Vegas.

TMZ also asked Manny if he sees himself buying or becoming a
part-owner of an NBA team someday when he retires from boxing. He says he is
not closing any doors on that. He also loves to play Basketball whenever he
can.
"Actually, I own a league in the
Philippines, which is so popular right now in the Philippines, the MPBL, you
can Google it, you can search it on the internet," Pacquiao said.
Pacquiao launched Maharlika
Pilipinas Basketball League or MPBL in 2017. MPBL is a semi-professional
basketball league in the Philippines, with 31 teams from different regions in
the country.
Many celebrities like Michel Jordan, Justin Timberlake, and JayZ, also owns or part-owner of an NBA team. And still, many others are planning to
own an NBA franchise, one of them is Lebron James.
