Manila, Philippines - Senator Ping Lacson on Sunday
said that old traditional politicians can start packing with the emergence of
the new breed of leaders with the likes of newly elected Manila Mayor Isko
Moreno, a total game changer indeed.
The Senator is hopeful that the former actor turned politician from Tondo Manila Mayor
Isko Moreno and would sustain his good performance and not be eventually
“eaten” up corruption and dirty politics.
“I hope I am not speaking too soon. As long as we see the emergence
of new leaders like Mayor Isko Moreno, we can look forward to retirement and
continue dreaming big for our beloved country,” Lacson posted on his twitter.
“Let’s pray that he will not be eaten by the system that
consumed many others before him,” he added.
Since assuming office in his first week and taking over the
leadership from the former Mayor Erap Estrada, Moreno has shown excellent job
in his clean-up drive of the country’s capital, particularly clearing streets
of illegal vendors and other obstructions.
In a press briefing, Moreno revealed that he was offered a P5 million
daily bribe to forget about his campaign against illegal vendors. And let the
same old chaotic system pursue in his term.
However, Moreno, ensure that his campaign would carry on and that the
return illegal vendors clogged, run havoc in the streets would be a clear
indication that he has eaten up the grand daily bribe offered to silence him.

Malaking sampal ito doon sa mga naunang nanungkulan na talaga namang masasabi na natin na nilamon ng mga maling sistema ng pagpapatakbo ng ating pulitika sa bansa. Ang lahat ng mga ito ay malalim ang pinagkaugatan. Naging kabahagi na ng kultura ng mga Pilipino ang kultura ng pagnanakaw, pagmamalabis sa kapangyarihan, sindikatuhan sa pulitika at marami pang mga kasiraan sa pag uugali at sistema nating mga Pilipino. Magbunga nawa ng kabutihan ang mga programa na sinimulan ng ating butihing Pangulo ng bansa sa pangunguna ni Pangulong Duterte, na siyang ama ng lahat ng pagbabago na sinusundan ngaun at ginagaya ng mga bagong sibol sa pulitika tulad ni Mayor Isko Moreno, at marami pang mga "new blood" sa pulitika subalit naghahangad din ng totoong pagbabago at reporma sa ating lipunan na kinagisnan. Magsilbi nawang magandang halimbawa ito para sa mga matatanda na sa pulitika, ngunit nabubuhay sa mga gawaing masama.

ReplyDeleteIs Lacson talking from experience. As far as I know he has nor forgotten the favor the BS Aquino gave him. There should be a prescription period or a statute of limitations for "utang na loob."

Iyan ang genuine na pagka "nuerotic at deluded " mo sa inggit. You find ways to misinterpret goodwill ng isang tao. Shut the fuck up Lacson.
