Former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas is no longer in the list
of probable winners within ‘Magic 12’ but is not disheartened by it, saying what
is important for him is the people’s warmth and support wherever he goes.
The Pulse Asia has recently released the senatorial survey
results two weeks before the mid-term polls in May showing Roxas was
dropped from the top 12 candidates.
Roxas said the genuine reaction of the public is not part of
the surveys and it is what keeps him going.
“That (survey) was two weeks ago, marami nang nangyari mula
noon.
So nandyan tayo hanggang sa dulo, ipaglaban natin.” The
former senator said, as reported by the Politiko.
Roxas is also set to continue with this “palengke” tour to
meet more people.
He said, people’s reaction upon seeing him when he goes to
markets inspire him.
He said,
referring to his recent visit in Batangas markets.
