Boxing champ and sitting senator Manny Pacquiao advised on
Thursday those candidates who lost in recent polls to accept their defeat.
desisyon ng taumbayan (My advise to them is to accept the will of the people),”
the senator said during a press conference.
This statement from Pacquiao came after Otso Diretso
campaign manager, Senator Francis Pangilinan, said that the delay in the
transmittal of votes to the Commission on Election (Comelec) transparency
servers cast doubts on the election results.
Pacquiao said that if it was him, he would also accept
defeat and cited that he also suffered loss in the past.
ang desisyon nila,” said Pacquiao
natin,” he added.
Partial and unofficial results from the Parish Pastoral
Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) as of this morning still showed that
none from the opposition slate made to
top 12.
