A video clip showing Senate Minority Leader Franklin
Drilon seemingly asleep during an interview with CNN Philippines’ Pinky Webb
has gone viral online.
In the said video shared by @mentallergies via Twitter, Drilon was caught
on national TV with his chin resting on his chest while the beautiful CNN host
is talking about the proposed joint resolutions filed in the Senate and House
of Representatives.
It is known that the opposition senator has been on
different online memes, but this is the very first video he was caught sleeping.
Webb also appeared trying to suppress a laugh as she
told the sleepy Drilon, “There’s a joint resolution, which I already asked your
chief of staff, sir.”
Even the retired broadcast journalist Jay Sonza cannot
help but react to this video Drilon, “bastos na bisista. Diyoskoday pinky
Webb tinulugan ang beauty mo ineng ng resource person mong senador.”
