Tricia Robredo on VP's sacking as ICAD co-chair: 'Evidently, di sila ready kay mommy!'

Matapos lumabas ang balitang tinanggal na bilang co-chair ng  Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) si Bise Presidente Leni Robredo, mabilis namang sumagot ang kanyang anak na si Tricia Robredo sa social media.

Nagpayag ito ng labis na galit matapos na patalsikin ng palasyo si Robredo mula sa kanyang posisyon na kamakailan lang din binigay sa kanya.


Bilang komento sa balitang lumabas, sinabi ni Tricia sa: “VPLGR: ‘Tinatanong nila ako, handa na ba ako sa trabaho na ito. Ang tanong ko – handa ba kayo para sa akin?’ Evidently, they weren’t.”

Inanunsyo ni Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo kahapon ang pagtanggal kay Robredo  bilang co-chair ng ICAD. 

Nagbigay din ng dalawang dahilan ang palasyo kung bakit pinatalsik ang bise presidente sa kanyang posisyon.


“This is in response to the suggestion of Liberal Party President, Senator Francis Pangilinan, to just fire the Vice President from her post. This is also in response to the taunt and dare of VP Robredo for the President to just tell her that he wants her out,” ayon kay Panelo

Sinabi ni Panelo na sinayang ni Robredo ang kanyang oportunidad na epektibong ipatupad ang mga taktika sa drug war, imbes, ginamit nya ang posisyon para pumuna sa diskarte ng gobyerno.

“The President’s designation of VP Robredo was not like any offer to perform a certain task. It was an offer to make the campaign against illegal drugs better – a chance where both this Administration and the political opposition could have unified in fighting the social ill that has destroyed the lives of many and imperilled thousands others, 


in addition to creating a multitude of dysfunctional families and threatening the present and the next generation to useless existence,” ani Panelo
