Senator Ping Lacson could not help but hope that
Pastor Apollo Quiboloy could use his powers not only to stop earthquakes but
also to control “wayward tattletale”.
“I hope Pastor Quiboloy can also control the
wayward tattletale as effectively as he stopped the earthquake in Mindanao,” the
Senator said on his tweet last November 1.
Quiboloy, the founding leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, has once
again became controversial when he claimed recently that he ordered the earthquake
in Mindanao to stop.
He said people should have thanked him for stopping the
calamity.
“Noong lumindol ng 6.6 (magnitude), nandoon ako kahapon,
nandoon ako sa kwarto ko, sabi ko ‘lindol stop, umi-stop’” says Quiboloy
“Pasalamat kayo sa akin kasi kung hindi ko pina-stop ‘yun,
marami kayong magigiba diyan, mamamatay kayo" he said
A magnitude of 6.5 earthquake rocked the Central and Eastern
Mindanao on Thursday, just couple of days after the recent strong tremors that
also hit the region which killed several people and hurt hundreds.
It was on October 16 when the first strong quake struck
Mindanao, followed by a 6.5 intensity on October 29 then another one on October 31.
As a result, the affected towns were now
placed under a state of calamity and relief operations are on going for the victims.
