Multi-talented artist Gab Valenciano recently hospitalized for
six days because of mental illness conditions.
He recently got out of the hospital and took the initiative about raising
awareness about the importance of mental health.
He revealed in a recent tv interview on
Thursday that he has been living with bipolar disorder, a mental condition that
causes unusual mood shifts, as well as clinical depression for almost a year
now.
For Gab, his life has been chaotic in the past weeks,opening-up
about his two suicide attempts, fake news about his passing away and admitting
most of all against his mental health conditions.
Now,
the total performer like his dad, posted on his social media that he got
discharged from the hospital and he is taking the opportunity to raise awareness
on mental health issues in the country.
He
posted on his Instagram, “I post stuff like this not for sympathy, but to
show that choosing to fight is all we have, so might as well fight with
everything we’ve got. My heart also goes out to every single person who has
supported me through this entire ordeal. Alive to fight another day, alive in
every single way.”
The International Youtube sensation is also grateful for
having a great family and his support system from his mom and dad.
“My pillars of peace, love, and strength. Thank you Mama
and Papa for always being there for me,” he said.
He also revealed

Valenciano hopes to
help make mental health a "household name," so that many people will
be aware of this serious condition and so that others can be saved and people
can recognize a cry for help.
Gab Valenciano is a 31-year-old dancer and choreographer actor,
musician, host, percussionist, drummer, choreographer, and commercial model. He
is the son of Gary Valenciano and Angeli Pangilinan. He is known
internationally for his Youtube videos called Super Selfie.
