The opposition Senator Leila de Lima on Saturday demanded President Rodrigo Duterte to end his “destructive governance” for the first half of his term in order to stop the damage done to our country.

De Lima made an appeal to the President right before before his 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 22, at the House of Representatives.

“He should stop in his destructive governance in order to minimize the damage that his administration has already caused. He should stop his mismanagement. It would be best for the country if Duterte steps down from his post and faces justice for the thousands of killings during his watch,” the detained opposition senator said.

The opposition senator shrugs-off the many achievements of the Duterte administration as she expressed dismay over the first three years of the President, whom she describes as a murderer and a traitor to his own people for his loyalty to China.

“No one can be satisfied with this government as long as there is no justice served for the thousands murdered in the drug war and as long as Duterte remains loyal to China and not the Philippines,” she said.

De Lima cautioned the Filipinos who will eventually be the victims of President Duterte who’s sin pay for the sins of President Duterte emphasizing the irreparable damage inflicted on the country’s different sector of our population and its vital institutions during his term.

“In the end, we will all pay for the six years (and even more) that Duterte has spent destroying this nation,” De Lima said.

  1. Whenever we see such face like de Lima.. We can't help but say how come she always been given the chance to speak by mainstream media! It's so disgusting! As if she has no crime committed ??? My God as if she has no concern for those crimes committed by drug offenders? Those rapes, murders, hold ups, etc
