Sedition case vs. Robredo, et al. over "Ang totoong Narcolist" video, Inilabas na!

Manila, Philippines–The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) on Thursday has released the sedition and other complaints against Vice President Leni Robredo and 35 other individuals, including some incumbent and former senators and members of catholic priests as they were mentioned in the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos.

“I have the honor to submit herewith and requesting appropriate action…the pertinent records of investigation relative to the criminal complaint for Sedition, inciting to Sedition, Cyber Liber, Libel, Estafa, Harboring a Criminal and Obstruction of Justice,” as per PNP-CIDG’s letter-complaint submitted to the Department of Justice (DOJ).



Also included in the complaint filed by the PNP-CIDG are as follows: incumbent national president of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Domingo Egon Cayosa, former IBP president Abdiel Dan Elijah Fajardo, human rights lawyer Atty. Theodore Te, Yolanda Villanueva Ong, former education secretary Armin A. Luistro, Boom Enriquez, Vicente Romano III, Danilo Songco, Joel Saracho, former police officer Eduardo Acierto, a certain Atty. Chito, Atty. Serafin Salvador and Carmelita Salvador.

The CIDG includes Peter Joemel Advincula, alias “Bikoy,” was also included as the respondent in the complaint, he was the narrator in the narco list video but the CIDG said he may, later on, turn as state witness upon the prosecution panel’s discretion.

Last May, Advincula went to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines office to claimed that he was the narrator in the said video, wearing the black hoodie.

Later on, the six-part video series, have surfaced in various social media platforms accusing and involving the family of President Rodrigo Duterte and his close allies to the illegal drugs trade in the country.



However, Advincula, later on, denied his testimony and said that the video was just a part of propaganda called “Project Sodoma” which its main purpose is to destabilize the government and to discredit President Duterte.

Aside from the destabilization plot and to discredit the President, the “Project Sodoma” was also planning to discredit the midterm election candidates of Hugpong ng Pagbabago as early as August 2018.

Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra stated that he will form a panel of prosecutors to evaluate the complaint and conduct a preliminary investigation on the complaint case filed by the PNP-CIDG.

The PNP-CIDG also submitted Advincula’s sworn statement and also mentioned that other evidence will be presented later to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
