Kung hindi isusuko ang mga baril, PNP maaring gumamit ng search warrant laban kay Erwin Tulfo

Inutusan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang radio personality na si Erwin Tulfo na isuko ang kanyang mga baril.

Ayon kay PNP spokesperson Col. Bernard Banac, pansamantalang ipatago daw muna sa kanila ang mga baril ni Tulfo na umano’y paso na ang lisensiya.

“The Philippine National Police has ordered for the recall or temporary safekeeping of the firearms of Erwin Tulfo in as much as the license to own and possess of firearms (LTOPF) of Mr. Erwin tulfo has already expired," ani Banac sa isang press conference sa Camp Crame.

Expired na umano ang LTOPF ni Tulfo kaya wala na siyang kapangyarihang magdala ng baril kahit pa meron siyang lisensiya.

"If the LTOPF is already expired, then there is no more authority or reason for an individual to keep firearms, to own firearms even if these firearms are still valid or if the licenses are still valid," paliwanag pa ni Banac.

Idinagdag ni Banac namaari umanong ma isyuhan si Tulfo ng search warrant upang mabawi ang mga baril nito.

"Owners need to have a license to own and possess firearms. Without this, there is no authoritization for any individual to keep firearms even if these are registered or licensed firearms," dagdag ng opisyal.
