Manila, Philippines - Senator-elect Imee Marcos posted on
her Facebook account a picture of her and her family as they return to
Malacanang for her oath taking ceremony as a new senator-elect, it was a sort
of family reunion with a portrait of the late President Ferdinand Marcos in the
background.
"Back in Malacañang for @ManangImee's oath-taking with
President Duterte. We could hardly contain our excitement seeing her finally
fulfill her dream of serving our people in the Senate," said Bongbong
Marcos.
"Led by Former First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos, the
family gathered in front of the portrait of Former President Ferdinand E.
Marcos," in Imee's Facebook post read.
Many Netizens raised their eyebrows with this post and because
of this, Imee told her bashers to chill and they just want to take a picture
with their late father and they will not take long.
“Posing-posing lang naman ‘yun, hindi naman
kami mananatili roon. Posing-posing lang sa tatay ko, nag-oathtaking kasi ako
doon,” Marcos told in an interview with DZBB.
Imee would like to share the precious moment with her
Facebook fans and feeling at home for the longest time.
“Siyempre as usual may nagbabatikos, meron din
natutuwa,” Imee added.
Imee was accompanied by other members of the Marcos family,
her two other sons, Borgy
Manotoc and Ferdinand Richard Marcos
Manotoc., the former First Lady Imelda Marcos, former senator Ferdinand
"Bongbong" Marcos Jr and son Sandro, Irene Marcos-Araneta.
Their photos have since made rounds in social media, with
critics slamming the Marcoses' return to power.
