Mark Villar announces completion of major DPWH project: travel time from NLEX to SLEX will be reduce from 2 hours to only 30 minutes

Inihayag ni Kalihim Mark Villar ng Public Works and Highways sa isang Facebook post ang pagkumpleto ng kalsada na magpapabilis ng paglalakbay sa pagitan ng North Luzon Expressway at South Luzon Expressway.

“Can’t believe that after almost four years, the 18-km Skyway Stage 3 expressway is now complete,” ayon sa caption ni Villar sa kanyang post

“Soon, travel time from NLEX to SLEX will be reduce from 2 hours to only 30 minutes. #BuildBuildBuild,” dagdag pa niya

Ibinahagi din ni Villar ang kuha sa pamamagitan ng drone para ipakita ang napakalaking proyekto ng Skyway Stage 3.

Ang Skyway Stage 3 ay isa rin sa mga pangunahing proyekto ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Ang elevated na expressway ay inulat na nagkakahalaga ng P37.43 bilyon na naka konekta sa Buendia, Makati City sa North Luzon Expressway sa Balintawak, Quezon City na may haba na humigit-kumulang na 18.83 na mga kilometro.

Inaasahan na madedecongest na ang EDSA at iba pang malalaking kalsada dahil sa proyektong ito.

Madami naman ang natuwa sa achievement na ito ng DPWH, narito ang ilan sa kanilang mga komento:

“this project will surely be appreciated by all travellers. And to make it more safe.. please install speed cams and strictly implement speed limits.... you are used to driving in US, likewise me in Aus.. let us create a way to make local drivers more disciplined”
