Hilbay calls out Duterte, cohort for evading laws: 'no one is above the law unless you are enforcing it.'

Former opposition senotorial candidate Florin "Pilo" Hilbay joined the netizens over the pictures circulating the social media involving a general of the Philippine National Police (PNP) celebrating a birthday party amid the enhanced community quarantine.

Netizens where outraged by another violation committed by the supposed law enforcers who should uphold to the highest standards.



The Sinas birthday celebration quickly became the top Twitter trending topic in the Philippines with more than 30,000 tweets yesterday.

The former Solicitor General is fuming over law bending of yet another government officials working for the President. 

Hilbay said, this issue involving the Sinas birthday party, came from a mindset being cultivated by President Duterte himself.

He pointed out that all seemed to have imbibed that no one is above the law unless you are enforcing it. 



Some netizens agreed to his point and gave their sentiments too on the Sinas birthday party  controversy.

PNP chief Gen. Archie Gamboa has directed the Internal Affairs Service (IAS) to lead an investigation of Sinas and his subordinates, depending on the outcome of the investigation, could recommend administrative penalties ranging from suspension to salary deduction to dismissal from the police service.
