Gary V has message to PRRD amid criticisms of gov’t response to corona outbreak 'I'll keep you covered in prayer, Sir'

Amid controversies involving his son Gab Valenciano, Mr. pure energy, Gary V. used social media to send a special message to President Rodrigo Duterte. 

After the late night public address of President Duterte on Monday, the OPM superstar sent out a message for the president.  


Gary said, he would rather pray for President Duterte amid “so many opinions and bashes” over the government’s response to the COVID-19 crisis in our country. 

Since the outbreak of corona virus hit our country, the government's efforts in addressing the health crisis has been filled with controversies and criticisms.

The multi-awarded singer said, he will just ignore everything that has been said regarding the issue and will just pray for the President. 

He also believes that praying for the President is what God wants him to do. 


“To our president, President Rodrigo Duterte, there are so many opinions after each time you speak, but I choose to look over all that’s said and simply follow what I know my God wants me to do; and that is to keep you covered in prayer. God bless you sir...God bless us all,” Gary tweeted. 

Meanwhile, Gary V’s tweet received mixed reactions, from netizens.  His tweet has since reached over 100,000 likes and 26,000 retweets on Twitter Monday night.
