Senator Panfilo Lacson
recently tweeted his sentiments over the recent development of Dormitorio’s case and other issues involving other alumni and how the Academy must live by the
mandates of the Honor Code in the Philippine Military Academy (PMA).
The PMA Alumnus said, not all PMA
graduates are observing the institution’s honor code. As he observes among
cadets as well.
Senator Lacson said while the majority continued to live by the PMA honor code that cadets must not lie,
cheat, steal or tolerate those among them who do so.
He also criticized graduates
of the country's premier military institution with "misplaced
values" who succumbed to corruption and forgot about the Honor Code.
“The Cadet Honor Code says, a cadet does not
LIE, CHEAT or STEAL nor TOLERATE those who do”.
“When we leave
PMA, many choose to adhere to the Code albeit not in the same rigid manner,” Lacson tweeted.
“Sadly, a number have ignored the Code as if
they never learned and practiced it in the first place,” he added.
