Kabataan Party-list Rep. Sarah
Elago believed that President Rodrigo Duterte’s trust and approval ratings will
continue to go down in the remaining months 2019 due to his inefficient
policies.
According
to the latest Pulse Asia survey, the trust and approval will continue to slide in the remaining
months 2019 due to the issues in the country's national penitentiary and police force.
pampublikong transportasyon,”
said Elago.
The President’s trust and
approval ratings suffered significantly in the third quarter due to controversies
involving the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) and so called “ninja cops.”
In a report by Pulse Asia, the
third quarter figures showed Duterte received a trust rating of 74 percent, an
11-point decrease from last quarter's 85 percent, after dropping in all areas
except in his home region of Mindanao.
“Ngayon
The chief executive’s approval rating slipped to 78 percent in the
third quarter in September from 85 percent in second quarter in June
“Madaming kailangang sagutin at
Elago
emphasized that Duterte’s economic policies hardly impress the Filipin people since
prices of basic commodities remain high amidst the reported inflation slow down
last month.
