Senator Panfilo Lacson has been overwhelmed by the number of
online trolls after his squabble with President Duterte.
Since then, a couple of exchange
of words with the chief executive and online bashers flooded the social media
against him.
On the other hand, Sen. Lacson recently posted on his
Twitter, saying he felt nothing but pity for those troll army since they cannot
have other sources of income.
“Trolls have
mushroomed on Twitter after I had a brief exchange of words with the President.
I pity their handlers for not knowing any other means to earn a living,” he
tweeted.
The former PNP chief had
disagreed with President Duterte’s
statement that it was okay for the police to accept gifts out of gratitude, or
earning extra cash from video-karera.
President Duterte responded
that Lacson is being ignorant of the law after disagreeing with him on the policy of accepting a small token of gratitude from the public.
And that he is penchant to just right away
make comments in every issue, and even accused him that he is running for
President.
However, Lacson clarified
that he is not even sure if he wants to run for President, that he does not
know what the President is talking about.

Morena Lacson Sr. was a retired police officer. He served as the head of the
Philippine National Police from 1999 to 2001. He has been a public servant for
more than 40 years.
