Trillanes calls Bikoy-Gadon tandem, "The dream team of Non-credibility"

Manila, Philippines - “A dream team of non-credibility” that is what former opposition senator Antonio Trillanes IV calls Peter Joemel Advincula, alias “Bikoy,” and lawyer Larry Gadon tandem.

“On the one hand, we have credible public personalities and bishops and priests and on the other, we have Bikoy and Larry Gadon. That is the dream team of non-credibility,” Trillanes said in an interview on ABS-CBN News on Tuesday.

Trillanes made this sarcastic remark after the Philippine National Police-Criminal Detection and Investigation Group (PNP-CIDG) recently filed sedition and other complaints against Vice President 

Leni Robredo and 35 other individuals for their alleged link to the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” video 

“Ang Totoong Narcolist” video series which linked President Duterte’s  family and allies to the illegal drugs trade in the country.

PNP used Advincula’s affidavit as basis for the filing of case against Robredo and 35 other personalities. Gadon is Advincula’s legal counsel which found the opposition unjust.

Advincula admitted that he was “Bikoy”, the hooded narrator in the” Real Narcolist” video.

The former opposition senator also said that Larry Gadon is planning to file an impeachment complaint against Vice President Leni Robredo, while the sedition case is intended for the opposition members.

“Probably, I would like to believe that the target is opposition in general because it is intended to send a chilling message across the opposition,” Trillanes’ comment on whether Gadon will file an impeachment case against Robredo.
