Sa dami ng problema ng bansa, fed up na umano si Pangulong
Rodrigo Duterte at minsan ay nakakaisip na lamang wakasan lahat.
Ang pahayag na ito ng pangulo ay matapos niyang ipaalis ang
bullet proof glass sa kanyang harapan.
“Don’t shoot us, politicians, because we are just serving
you,” aniya sa isang speech sa General Santos City
“Honestly, if you were the President of a nation such as
this, you would be tempted to hang yourself because there are so many
problems,” dagdag ni Duterte
Isa sa matinding problema na nabanggit ng pangulo sa kanyang
speech ay ang walang tigil na rebelyon ng mga komunista at ang illegal drugs sa
bansa.
“Our war with the New People’s Army has taken a toll of
almost three generations. Fifty-three years. Those who were born then have
children now, and their children are having children of their own,” dagdag
ng pangulo
Bago magsimula ang event, ang Pangulo ay nasa likod ng
bullet proof glass na iniligay ng kanyang Presidential Security Group bilang
karagdagang proteksyon.
Ang bullet proof glass umano ay nagsisilbing proteksyon kung
sakaling may magtangkang bumaril sa kanya.
“Why would you shoot me when I did nothing wrong to
you? Just choose anyone from them here. They all came from the military. They
are all generals,” sambit ni Pangulong Duterte
Maya’t maya pa ay
pinaalis na ng pangulo ang salamin at nagbirong “Kindly remove this. Otherwise
I will not speak. I want you to be blamed if I die. Kindly… I have a grenade
here. I will throw it to you,”
Ang paglalagay ng bullet proof na salamin sa harap ng president
ay ginawa din ng kanyang mga PSG sa isang campaign event nitong April sa
Malabon City.
