Netizens aired different reactions over Bautista's conditions before accepting Erwin Tulfo's sincere apology

Manila, Philippines – DSWD Secretary Rolando Bautista finally broke his silence over radio show host Erwin Tulfo rants and insults against him. He said, Tulfo must prove the sincerity of his apology by admitting his mistake through various media platform and must make P300,000 worth of donations to select institutions.

Bautista said, he is willing to forgive Tulfo public apologies, if the reporter will comply in his conditions. Under thiese conditions is to make public apologies by admitting his mistakes and publishing it in major newspaper, radio stations and in his social media accounts.

But Netizens aired different opinions on Bautista’s conditions. Others find it stupid and childish others even lambasted Bautista’s conditions.

“Tinatanggap ko ang paghingi ng paumanhin ni Ginoong Erwin T. Tulfo alinsunod sa mga nakatakda na kailangan niyang gampanan sa lalong madaling panahon upang mapatunayan ang kanyang katapatan,” Bautista said.

Bautista’s condtions include sincere public apology to be aired on different radion stations,  to be published in different newspapers and social media platforms and Instead of paying him for damages to his reputation, Bautista said Tulfo should donate P300,000 to all institutions where he is and had been part of.

However, the netizens disagreed to the conditions of Bautista. Here are some of their comments, based on the Facebook page of ABS-CBN News and other social media platform.

Sir kung si tulfo hirap ka makausap, ako na mahirap at hampaslupa na lalapit syo??? Kukuha pa ako ng appointment at gagawa ng sulat para lng makausap kayo??? DSWD po ang hawak nyong ahensza!!!Hindi ko po sinasabi na tama si Erwin tulfo pero mas may naiintindihan ko ang pinaglalaban nya sa issues kesa sa inyo!!!

As previously reported by KAMI, Bautista also thanked those who supported and symphatized him after the tirades of Tulfo.

The radio broadcaster made a rant about Bautista when the latter refused to have an interview with him. The Philippine National Police pulled out the police escorts of the Tulfos.

Later on, Tulfo issued an apology for Bautista twice already. However, the apology did not stop the PNP and ordered Tulfo to surrender his firearms.
