Manila, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday
strikes at opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, after Peter Joemel
Advincula, alias Bikoy, accused the fiercest administration critic of
involvement in the alleged plot to destabilize the government.
"Anong ginawa mo? Binaboy mo ang Senado. And you use
that power to run after people," said Duterte during a speech in Davao
City.
Further, the Chief Executive also claimed that the senator is
using dummies to conceal his ownership of cars and other properties.
"Ikaw 'yung number one na gagamit ng dummy. Lalabas rin
‘yan. Pero sabi ko walang hiya ka. Hindi ka lalaki," the President said
According to report by GMA News, Trillanes was the least
wealthy among the Senators in 2017, declaring a net worth of P6.87 million.
On Friday, Trillanes denied the allegations of the
President.
“Ayan ka na naman. Hindi ka pa nga nakakabawi sa kapalpakan
mo dun sa inimbento mong offshore bank accounts na bintang mo sa akin, pati na
rin dun sa mga sinabi mo laban sa Nanay ko, tapos may bago ka na namang
bintang,” Trillanes said
“This time, si Bikoy naman ang source mo. Henyo ka talaga,
Duts,” he added.
