Opposition and Otso Diretso senatorial candidate Gary Alejano has called on the Palace to release the medical report of President Rodrigo Duterte amid the rumors about his health.

In a tweet on Friday, May 17, Alejano asked when will Malacañang plans to publicize the medical bulletin of the President.

“When will Malacañang issue a medical bulletin of the president? Duterte himself claimed that he is suffering from various illnesses and yet never issued an official medical bulletin,” the Magdalo party-list Rep. said

“Hindi kita miss ha, nagtatanong laang po,” he added.

Alejano’s comment came after rumors circulated that the President was rushed to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan on Sunday.

Palace, on the other hand, denied the reports explaining that Duterte is in his residence in the Palace, signing papers.

Former Presidential aide Bong Go then released photos of the Chief Executive showing the latter was sitting at a table and holding Sunday’s copy of The Philippine Star newspaper.

Duterte was out of the public eye since the mid-term elections, after casting his vote at the Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School in Davao City on May 13.
