The city government of Makati gave
away gifts, for our beloved teachers in celebration of World Teacher’s Day
According to Makati City
government, over 3,000 teachers will receive a Teacher’s
kit they can use as their teaching aid
in school.
This gadget-filled bag for teachers consists of Bluetooth
speaker, wireless presenter, tumbler, teacher’s plan, student’s data record and
first aid kit.
Aside from gadgets, the kit also
includes, a pouch with school supplies, notepad, 64GB flash drive, voice
amplifier, laptop bag, and a Makatizen jacket.
The Makati City government suspended classes on October 4
(Friday) to mark World Teachers Day, in order to celebrate the said event which we celebrate on the 5th of October, which falls on Saturday.
Makati Mayor Abigail “Abby” Binay issued an executive order,
declaring classes in all public elementary to tertiary schools in the city to
be suspended.
A total of 3,100 teachers from Makati’s public grade school and high schools received the kit.
