Chair of the Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs Senator Panfilo Lacson has declined the request of the man who surfaced as "Bikoy" to testify on allegations he made in "“Ang Totoong Narco List” serye after the elections.

Lacson said Peter Joemel Advincula cannot impose or dictate whatever he likes on the Senate panel.

“On Bikoy’s decision to testify after elections: He can not dictate on the committee. Truth is never time bound. If he can’t be spontaneous, the only logical conclusion is he has not yet weaved his lies,” Lacson said in a tweet on Tuesday

In a report by Rappler, Advincula asked Lacson to reschedule the Senate probe originally set this Friday for fear of his safety as members of the National Bureau of Investigation or Philippine National Police might capture him once he steps inside the Senate.

"Puwedeng-puwede ako gawan ng scenario case nang Friday. Hindi na ako makakalabas ng Senado: Sabado, Linggo, hanggang Lunes,” Advincula reportedly said

He also reasoned that he stil have a pending application with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines for legal assistance.

Lacson earlier said that Senate hearing will commence as soon as Advincula confirms his attendance along with a sworn statement.
